Jego historia jest z nami już od ponad 150 lat i ani widzi się zakończyć. W rękach żołnierzy, weteranów wojen, stróżów prawa, kowbojów, łowców nagród, myśliwych, odkrywców czy też rzezimieszków... 3cia generacja modelu SAA zawitała w 1976 roku i wprowadziła pewne zmiany.
Nowością była wciskana tuleja sworznia bębna, zamiast wymiennych stosowanych w generacjach 1 i 2. Zmieniono także kształt mechanizmu zapadkowego oraz z nieznanych powodów zmieniono skok gwintu w lufach. Prezentowany egzemplarz został wyprodukowany w 1979 roku, ma lufę długości 7-1/2″ co oznacza wersję kawaleryjską, jest w kalibrze 357mag, posiada numer seryjny SA14740.
Stan rewolweru bardzo dobry, niewiele strzelany, lufa w stanie bardzo dobrym, minimalne przetarcie oksydy po bokach przy wylocie lufy.
