No4 Mk1/2 powstawały poprzez powojenną modernizację standardowych karabinów No4 Mk1.
Oferowany tutaj egzemplarz został zmodernizowany przez zakłady BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Factory) w roku 1955. Świadczą o tym oznaczenia umieszczone na komorze zamkowej "B 55 FTR" - czyli Birmingham, 1955, Factory Through Repair.
W trakcie remontu uzgodnione zostały numery - na przykład magazynka.
Bardzo ładny, solidny, znakomicie zachowany egzemplarz, którzy przeżyje jeszcze kilku użytkowników.
