#6783 Karabinek Berthier Mle1892 kal. 8 mm Lebel.

Egzemplarz wyprodukowany przez francuski arsenał w St.Etienne (MAS) w roku 1895. W okresie międzywojennym nadal używany przez armię francuską - więc w latach trzydziestych przeszedł modernizację, polegającą na tym, że został przystosowany do nowego naboju Modèle 1932N. Świadczą o tym stemple w postaci litery "N" na komorze zamkowej - patrz zdjęcia.

Prawdopodobnie wtedy to doszło także do wymiany zamka - obecny ma wymuszoną numerację. Nie jest to operacja kolekcjonera / handlarza post factum!

Znakomity przykład broni, która po zakończeniu I wojny światowej nie została odłożona w dziewiczym "pierwszowojennym" stanie ku radości przyszłych kolekcjonerów - a była używana nadal.

Egzemplarz zgodny numerycznie. Obecny jest brytyjski atest nitro (bardzo dyskretny). Oryginalna oksyda (remontowa). Ogólnie piękny egzemplarz.

Przewód lufy: gwint ostry, ale bruzdy pokryte drobnymi wżerami.
