#5278 Karabin Mosin M28 kal. 7,62x53R (7,62x54R). Produkcja fińska na bazie rosyjskich / radzieckich części (np. komory zamkowej). Model karabinu przeznaczony dla fińskiej Gwardii Narodowej (SUOJELUSKUNTAIN YLIESIKUNTA). Produkowany w latach 1928-1932.

Przewód lufy: idealny. Na lufie oznaczenie Gwardii "SY" - oraz numer z dystryktu Gwardii Narodowej (S107873). W listopadzie 1944 Gwardia została rozwiązana - a jej broń przekazano armii - stąd na tym egzemplarzu widoczny jest także wojskowy stempel "SA" (Suomen Armeija). Na kolbie i na nakładce obecne są pęknięcia - patrz zdjęcia. Lufa produkcji szwajcarskiej firmy SIG.

Ponieważ dyskusja o zamienności amunicji 7,62x53R oraz 7,62x54R w tych karabinach wydaje się nie mieć ostatecznego rozwiązania (jeden rabin mówi TAK, drugi rabin mówi NIE) - na fakturze umieszczamy oba kalibry. Umożliwi to zakup amunicji obu kalibrów.
