Kiedy należy stosować koc termiczny?
Koc termiczny zwany także folią NRC należy stosować w przypadku:
-osób poszkodowanych w wypadkach drogowych,
-osób narażonych na szok termiczny (przegrzanie),
-osób z hipotermią (wychłodzenie organizmu),
-poszkodowanych znajdujących się we wstrząsie i stanach nagłych.
W jaki sposób stosować koc termiczny?
Najprostszym sposobem na zapamiętanie zasady działania koca termicznego, jest uświadomienie sobie, że srebrna strona jest odpowiedzialna za odbijania ciepła. Dlatego, jeśli chcemy udzielić pomocy osobie z hipotermią, srebrna strona powinna być zwrócona do wewnątrz (w stronę człowieka). Jeśli strona srebrna jest zwrócona na zewnątrz, promienie słoneczne ulegają odbiciu. Taki układ koca stosuje się u osób, które chronimy przed przegrzaniem.
