Tak jak pojedynczy łusko-trzymacz (shellholder) jest absolutnie niezbędny przy prasach jednostanowiskowych oraz ręcznych osadzarkach spłonek, tak „talerzyk” trzymający łuski (shellplate) jest konieczny przy prasach wielostanowiskowych. To on trzyma łuski podczas ich obróbki w prasie.
Shellhplate’y sprzedawane są w kilku rozmiarach, poza nielicznymi wyjątkami, większość pasuje do kilku kalibrów, dlatego też oznaczane są numerami symbolizującymi ich rozmiar (np. #1, #19) a nie kalibrem.
Do nabycia są pojedynczo i kolejne nabywamy gdy na posiadanej już prasie mamy zamiar elaborować kolejny kaliber.
Kiedy będziesz potrzebował to narzędzie:
1. Jeśli zaczynasz elaborować kolejny kaliber a nie masz odpowiedniego łusko-trzymacza
2. Jeśli już je miałeś, ale… poprzedni dokonał swego żywota ;-)
