Adapter A-Tec A-lock to element wykonywany w różnych długościach (zależnie od rodzaju gwintu) pozwalający na montaż na broni tłumików jak i hamulców wylotowych przeznaczonych i przystosowanych do montażu na adapter A-lock. Adapter nakręcany jest na gwint na lufie, w zależności od tzw. skoku gwintu na broni istnieje wiele wersji dopasowanych do różnych rodzajów gwintów zarówno metrycznych jak i calowych. Na zewnątrz zakończony jest specjalnymi ryglami. Dzięki posiadaniu kilku adapterów na kilku jednostkach (każda jednostka może mieć inny gwint) można w ciągu kilku sekund przełożyć tłumik czy hamulec na inną broń.
