Die neue Rahmenkonstruktion der GLOCK 17 Gen5 mit entfernten Fingerrillen für mehr Vielseitigkeit, erlaubt aber trotzdem die Anpassung des Griffs durch die verschiedenen Einsätze. Ein aufgeweiteter Magazinzufuhr und ein Ausschnitt an der Vorderseite des Rahmens geben dem Benutzer mehr Geschwindigkeit beim Nachladen. Eine umkehrbar vergrößerte Magazinverriegelung, die auf Benutzerebene veränderbar ist, sowie der beidhändige Schiebehebel für linke und rechtshändige Bediener. Die Pistol wurde für erhöhte Präzision leicht modifiziert.
