Become a dealer on Gunfinder
Gunfinder is a meta search engine that helps hunters and sport shooters quickly find the product they're looking for at the right price. If you run an online shop in the hunting sector and want your products to appear on Gunfinder, you've come to the right place. Here we explain how you can integrate your shop with Gunfinder.
Requirements
There are exactly two basic requirements to be listed on Gunfinder:
You are a gunsmith, hunting outfitter, dealer, or marketplace operator, and
You run your own online shop where your products are sold.
If you meet both requirements, there are 3 ways we can add your products to our database.
Affiliate Feed
So-called affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing. A shop operator makes their product database available to an affiliate marketing platform. This platform then generates a completely new product database from your data, which it in turn makes available to us — Gunfinder. Gunfinder can read this database and import the products. When your products are displayed in Gunfinder search results and ultimately clicked on, the affiliate platform can generate detailed statistics about your product sales.
Affiliate systems already used by Gunfinder dealers include, for example, Awin, Adcell, and Belboon.
So if your shop is already a member of an affiliate system, or if you're considering joining one, the easiest option is to send us an email at [email protected] and share all the details with us.
Product Data Feed
Many shop solutions such as Shopware or JTL-Shop already offer a so-called product feed out of the box. The shop exports all the products you've specified, including all their data, in a structured format and makes it available over the internet. Here you'll find an overview of all formats we support.
List Directly on Gunfinder
If you prefer, you can also list directly on Gunfinder and offer firearms, ammunition, and equipment online. This option is open to both private individuals and commercial users. The integrated messaging system lets sellers and interested buyers communicate directly with each other. Listing on Gunfinder is free for you and with no time limit.
Choosing a Method
In general, we prefer methods 1 and 2. Information we receive via a direct data connection is typically reliable and up to date, meaning it's subject to fewer fluctuations.
Listing directly is most appealing to private sellers — anyone with a large inventory has to add each firearm individually and communicate with buyers one by one. For starters or in individual cases, however, this can be an interesting channel for dealers who want to dip their toes into online selling first.
Regardless of which method you choose: please get in touch with us in any case! We love working with you and will find a solution for everyone.
