Introdotto a partire dal 1915 questo revolver a doppia azione fu destinato, per il calibro, agli inglesi ed una parte ai canadesi. 59.150 furono consegnati all’esercito inglese e 14.500 a quello canadese. Questa è una militare dato che in più punti sono presenti le “Broad Arrow” dell’esercito (doppie ad indicare il fuori uso dell’esercito). Brunitura originale, splendida e completa con i normali segni di usura da porto in fondina. Meccanica ottima e canna a specchio. Guancette in noce con zigrini sani, “diamond grips” e medaglioncini con logo S&W. Canna da 6 pollici, spinata. Interessante e non comune variante, pezzo di pregio per una collezione nel vasto mondo Smith & Wesson. Cal. 455.
