.br-product summary{font-weight:600;cursor:pointer;}
The TT 50 Belt is a robust, deliberately simple 50 mm belt for anyone looking for a stable belt base without MOLLE, padding, or a multi-part underbelt. Its safety buckle protects against unintentional opening, four clearly defined sizes cover 75 to 135 cm, and the sturdy nylon webbing remains straightforward in operation and equipment combination.

What is the TT 50 Belt?
The Tasmanian Tiger TT 50 Belt is a classic belt made of 50 mm wide nylon webbing. It forgoes additional padding, MOLLE slots, and a two-part hook-and-loop system. This keeps it flat, easy to understand, and quickly adjustable to the desired circumference.
According to the manufacturer, the buckle has a safety feature against unwanted opening. This is especially practical when the belt is stressed while getting in and out, on clothing, or when moving through tight spaces. However, the safety does not make the belt a certified retention, climbing, or securing system.
Product classification: Class: simple 50 mm belt. Ready to use: yes, after choosing the right size and adjusting the circumference. Not included: MOLLE outer belt, hook-and-loop inner belt, padding, pouches, or holsters. Important: accessory loops must explicitly fit the belt width of 50 mm.
Choosing the right size
The variant designation corresponds to the upper end of the adjustment range. For a reliable fit, the measured wearing circumference should lie within the range and still allow room for the clothing actually worn:
Size 90: adjustable from 75 to 90 cm
Size 105: adjustable from 90 to 105 cm
Size 120: adjustable from 105 to 120 cm
Size 135: adjustable from 120 to 135 cm
Anyone exactly on a range boundary should not only consider body circumference. A thicker jacket, a tucked-in top, or overlapping belt ends change the required circumference. The real wearing scenario is decisive.
Which setups does the belt fit?
The TT 50 Belt is strong when a durable, straightforward base is enough: as a belt over work or outdoor clothing, for manageable range gear, or for individual pouches and holders with matching belt loops. There are no predefined MOLLE positions; accessories can be arranged along the webbing where their attachment allows.
For extensive equipment, a modular or battle belt designed for that purpose is the better choice. Such systems distribute load via padding, hook-and-loop inner belts, or stiffened MOLLE panels and hold multiple components more securely in position. The TT 50 Belt is deliberately simpler and should not be advertised with functions it does not have.
Material and everyday use
The nylon webbing used is, according to Tasmanian Tiger, made of 100% polyamide. It forms a
dense, dimensionally stable webbing and comes without bulky textile padding. The current version also features a PFC/PFAS-free impregnation. The weight is around 170 g in size L or variant 120.
Practical tips for selection and use
Measure over actual clothing Measure where the belt will later sit, wearing the pants, jacket, or midlayer planned for use. This way, the required circumference won’t end up outside the adjustment range during use.
Check accessory loops in advance A rigid mount designed for 38 or 45 mm does not automatically fit over 50 mm webbing. Soft loops can also be too tight or undesirably shift; the manufacturer’s specification of the accessory is decisive.
Fully lock the buckle After closing, check whether the locking mechanism is actually engaged. Only connected buckle parts use the intended lock against accidental opening.
Limit load realistically If several heavy pouches pull outward, the belt twists, or components lose their position, tightening more is not the solution. Then a stiffened or padded gear belt is structurally better suited.
Black-Raptor short summary: Buy if: a robust, no-nonsense 50 mm belt with locking buckle and clear size selection is sought. Don’t buy if: MOLLE, a hook-and-loop inner belt, padding, a COBRA® buckle, or high modular load capacity are needed.
Suitable alternatives by purpose:
TT Equipment Belt-outer for an outer/inner belt system
TT Modular Belt with MOLLE slots
TT Tactical Belt MKII with COBRA® buckle
TT HYP Belt 38 mm as a flat trouser belt

FAQ
Which size fits a 100 cm circumference? 100 cm is within the adjustment range of size 105. Measurement should be taken over the clothing with which the belt is actually worn.
Does the TT 50 Belt have MOLLE loops? No. It is smooth 50 mm nylon webbing without an integrated MOLLE system.
Is an inner belt included? No. The TT 50 Belt is a single belt and not a two-part hook-and-loop belt system.
Does every belt holster fit the belt? No. The mount must be suitable for 50 mm wide webbing; rigid or tightly designed loops must be checked in advance.
Is the buckle a COBRA® buckle? No. The manufacturer describes a belt buckle with a lock against unintended opening, not a COBRA® buckle.

Tasmanian Tiger · 50 mm · einfache Koppel
Variantenwahl & Praxiswirkung
Größe 90 Verstellbereich 75–90 cm. Über der tatsächlichen Bekleidung messen.
Größe 105 Verstellbereich 90–105 cm. Bei Grenzwerten das reale Setup berücksichtigen.
Größe 120 Verstellbereich 105–120 cm. Die Variante 120 wiegt laut vorhandenen Daten etwa 170 g.
Größe 135 Verstellbereich 120–135 cm. Zu viel Überstand kann Zubehörpositionen stören.
Grenzen, Nachteile & Fehlkauf vermeiden
