GLOCK G49 MOS The GLOCK G49 combines the frame of the compact G19 'Crossover' model with the shorter recoil spring housing (Dust Cover) with the typical GLOCK G17 Gen5 MOS slide. The G49 model is a combination of the compact G19 frame with a small magazine capacity of 15 rounds and the long G17 slide. The new G49 features all typical Gen 5 characteristics and the M.O.S. (Modular Optic System) slide interface for proprietary adapter plates and the mounting of numerous mini red dot sights, rear and front serrations (Slide Serrations). The Gen5 models have been improved in the following features: New frame: The finger grooves used since 1998 are gone. This change contributes to a better grip feel for some users.
