Anhand der Lernkarten „Ansprechen von Schalenwild“ können sowohl Jungjäger als auch „alte Hasen“ typische Ansprechmerkmale erlernen oder ihr Wissen vertiefen. Das Ansprechen von Wild ist eine der schwierigsten Anforderungen an den Jäger. Auch unter oftmals ungünstigen Bedingungen muss er das Tier sicher auf Wildart, Geschlecht und Alter hin erkennen können.
