Age estimation on harvested game In 2006, the Niklas-Saufächer was developed and became very popular among passionate hunters, as well as among young hunters. Now, the Saufächer has been fundamentally revised, and a red deer and a roe deer fan have also been developed. The roe deer fan allows the hunter to estimate the age of the harvested animal right away. One pulls back the lower lip of the harvested animal and compares the teeth in the lower jaw with the illustrations in the fan. In the age classes, one can easily compare the tooth wear in the illustrations in the fan with those of the harvested animal. With this fan, the harvested animal (roe buck, doe, fawn, kid) can be quite accurately classified into the respective age group. Explanatory texts, photos, and detailed illustrations round off the content of the age estimation fan. In this form, there is nothing comparable on the hunting market. Altersschätzung am erlegten Wild 2006 wurde der Niklas-Saufächer entwickelt und erfreute sich großer Beliebtheit bei passionierten Jägern, aber auch bei Jungjägern. Nun wurde der Saufächer grundlegend überarbeitet und dabei auch ein Rotwild- und ein Rehwildfächer entwickelt. Der Rehwildfächer ermöglicht dem Jäger, schon am erlegten Stück eine Altersschätzung vorzunehmen. Man zieht am Unterkiefer des erlegten Stücks die Unterlippe zurück und vergleicht die Zähne im Unterkiefer mit den Abbildungen im Fächer. Bei den Altersklassen kann man leicht die Zahnabschliffe an den Abbildungen im Fächer mit denen des erlegten Stücks vergleichen. Mit diesem Fächer lässt sich das erlegte Stück (Rehbock, Ricke, Schmalreh, Kitz) ziemlich genau in die jeweilige Altersstufe einordnen. Erläuternde Texte, Fotos und Detailabbildungen runden den Inhalt des Altersschätzfächers ab. In dieser Form ist nichts Vergleichbares auf dem Jagdmarkt.
