The Escort BullTac SA is a semi-automatic shotgun in "Bullpup" layout - meaning the chamber is located behind the trigger. Unlike similar products on the market, the shotgun otherwise features a classic function with a tube magazine that is loaded from below. Technically, the shotgun corresponds to the proven semi-automatic Escort Magnum models and is designed for heavy loads; it performs best with 36g+ loads and is less suitable for sporting loads.
However, with strong hunting ammunition, it fully showcases its strengths; the compact shotgun is excellently suited for corn hunts as well as tracking and finishing shots in underbrush or thickets. The classic tube magazine eliminates the need for large and bulky box magazines found in similar models.
The BullTac SA offers an adjustable cheek rest for use with optics, a carrying handle with integrated fiberglass sighting, and a removable Picatinny rail as well as short Picatinny rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. The AR15 pistol grip ensures a secure hold, and the push-button safety can be easily operated with the shooting hand. Despite having an ejection port, the weapon is only suitable for right-handed shooters. The compact work tool is rounded off with a chrome-plated barrel with cylinder choke and a 5+1 magazine capacity - the barrel length is a remarkable 18" / 46cm with an overall length of just 70.5cm.
Please note:
The semi-automatic Escort shotguns perform best with loads of 36g and more, 12/70 and 12/76, and are thus tailored for hunting use. A bit unusual for the Escort models is the bolt catch, which is part of the loading spoon and is therefore located in the loading window and not outside the housing.

Die Escort BullTac SA ist eine halbautomatische Flinte in "Bullpup" Layout - d.h. die Kammer befindet sich hinter dem Abzug. Abweichend zu ähnlichen Produkten auf dem Markt verfügt die Flinte ansonsten über eine klassische Funktion mit einem Röhrenmagazin welches von unten geladen wird. Technisch entspricht die Flinte somit den bewährten halbautomatischen Escort Magnum Modellen und ist ausgelegt auf starke Ladungen, sie läuft am Besten mit 36g+ Vorlage und ist weniger für sportliche Ladungen geeignet.
Aber mit der starken jagdlichen Munition spielt sie Ihre Stärken voll aus, die kompakte Flinte ist hervorragend geeignet für Maisjagden sowie Nachsuchen und Fangschüsse in Unterholz oder Dickicht. Durch das klassische Röhrenmagazin entfallen auch die großen und sperrigen Kastenmagazine ähnlicher Modelle.
Die BullTac SA bietet eine einstellbare Wangenauflage, falls Optiken verwendet werden, einen Tragegriff mit integrierter Fiberglasvisierung und einer abnehmbaren Picatinnyschiene sowie kurzen Picatinnyschienen auf 3, 6 und 9 Uhr Position. Der AR15 Pistolengriff sorgt für einen sicheren Halt, die Druckknopfsicherung kann einfach mit der Schusshand bedient werden. Trotz eines Hülsenabweisers ist die Waffe nur für Rechtsschützen geeignet. Abgerundet wird das kompakte Arbeitsgerät durch einen chromplatierten Lauf mit Zylinderchoke und eine 5+1 Magazinkapazität - die Lauflänge ist mit 18" / 46cm bei einer Gesamtlänge von gerade einmal 70,5cm beachtlich.

Die halbautomatischen Escort Flinten laufen am besten mit Ladungen von 36g und mehr, 12/70 und 12/76, und sind somit auf den jagdlichen Einsatz abgestimmt. Etwas ungewohnt bei den Escort Modellen ist der Verschlussfang welcher Teil des Ladelöffels ist und sich somit im Ladefenster und nicht aussen am Gehäuse befindet.
