The Glock 17 Gen 6 marks the next consistent development step in the Glock portfolio. While earlier generations were heavily influenced by the law enforcement environment, the Gen 6 clearly targets the civilian user who expects ergonomics, modularity, and modern optical solutions.
Technically, Glock remains true to its line: proven reliability, robust mechanics, and full ambidextrous operation. At the same time, improvements have been made where it really counts in everyday use – grip, trigger, slide, and optics mounting.

Every Glock Gen 6 is delivered as standard Optic Ready.
Unlike the classic MOS system, the new optics interface sits lower in the slide, allowing for a significantly lower and more stable mounting of red dot sights.

Other: The Glock 17 is the standard model and the original Glock - and for the first time, the formula has been slightly changed with the Gen6: The grip of the Glock 17 Gen6 is slightly shorter at the dust cover, making the weapon essentially correspond to the Glock 47 of generation 5. The advantage now lies in the fact that conversion systems with compact slides (such as Glock 19 & Glock 45) can be mounted, giving the shooter more options with a base weapon.

Technisch bleibt Glock seiner Linie treu: bewährte Zuverlässigkeit, robuste Mechanik und volle Beidseitigkeit in der Bedienung. Gleichzeitig wurde dort nachgeschärft, wo es im Alltag wirklich zählt – Griff, Abzug, Schlitten und Optikaufnahme.

Jede Glock Gen 6 wird serienmäßig Optic Ready ausgeliefert.
Im Gegensatz zum klassischen MOS-System sitzt die neue Optikschnittstelle tiefer im Schlitten, was eine deutlich niedrigere und stabilere Montage von Rotpunktvisieren ermöglicht.

Sonstiges:Die Glock 17 ist das Standardmodell und die Originale Glock - und erstmals wurde mit der Gen6 die Formel leicht geändert: Das Griffstück der Glock 17 Gen6 ist am Dustcover etwas kürzer, wodurch die Waffe im Grunde der Glock 47 der Generation 5 entspricht. Der Vorteil liegt jetzt darin, dass Wechselsysteme mit kompakten Schlitten (wie Glock 19 & Glock 45) montiert werden können, der Schütze verfügt dadurch mit einer Basiswaffe über mehr Möglichkeiten.
