A practical catching knife has always been an essential part of hunting equipment for wild boar. The model "pig sticker 13" from our American XP series is not only functional with its nearly 20 cm long satin-finished blade but also visually appealing. The handle with an integral guard element is symmetrically shaped and features beautiful scales made from the synthetic material "POM Commando Stag," which is deceptively realistic in its imitation of stag horn. The knife has a full tang construction made from a single piece of 440 steel, hardened to 55-57 HRC, making it very stable. A specific feature is the medium-point blade, which has a ground bevel in the tip area and a double hollow grind on the sides. The blade is not ground on both sides. Our "PUMA XP pig sticker" is also well suited for tracking and comes with a very high-quality, perfectly fitting leather sheath with a leg loop.

Ein praxistaugliches Abfangmesser ist bei der Jagd auf Schwarzwild schon seit jeher fester Bestandteil der waidmännischen Ausrüstung. Das Modell „pig sticker 13“ aus unserer amerikanischen XP-Serie ist mit seiner knapp 20 cm langen, satinierten Klinge nicht nur funktional, sondern auch optisch ein Hingucker. Der Griff mit integralem Parierelement ist symmetrisch geformt und trägt schöne Schalen aus dem synthetischen Material „POM Commando Stag “, das täuschend echt Hirschhorn nachempfunden ist. Das Messer besitzt eine durchgehende Fulltangkonstruktion aus einem Stück 440-Stahl, gehärtet auf 55-57 HRC und ist daher sehr stabil. Als spezifisches Merkmal weist die mittelspitze Klinge im Ortbereich eine angeschliffene Fase sowie an den Flanken eine beidseitige Hohlkehle auf. Die Klinge ist nicht beidsetig geschliffen. Unser „PUMA XP pig sticker“ ist auch bestens für die Nachsuche geeignet und wird mit einer sehr hochwertigen, paßgenauer Lederscheide Scheide mit Beinschlaufe ausgeliefert.
