Unique Locking Mechanism What truly makes the Mercury Tactical Evo Black .223 unique is the design of the completely stock-mounted locking mechanism. It is entirely detached from the stock and is held in place by only two carriers. This prevents any form of connection stresses and thus significantly increases your precision.
System and Barrel - Tailored to the .223 Remington Caliber The system of the Tactical Evo Black is designed for the .223 Remington caliber and offers the highest level of reliability. The bolt, with its three locking lugs, is forged from a single block of high-strength special steel, subsequently heat-treated, chrome-plated, and fitted to ensure a silky-smooth locking operation. The robust extractor made of 17-4PH steel provides maximum resistance and safety when using high and ultra-high pressure loads. The STR-223 rifle features a 26" long, cold-hammered premium barrel with a conventional land-and-groove profile. It has a 1/2"-28 UNEF muzzle thread for the installation of accessories such as flash hiders, muzzle brakes, compensators, or suppressors. The match rifle is fed by an interchangeable polymer magazine with a capacity of 3 rounds.
Robust Safety The safety used locks both the trigger and the trigger block. It is a very secure system, as the locking of the trigger block is designed to be particularly robust. And when the trigger block is locked, the firing pin is essentially locked as well. Theoretically, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less resistant.

Das Verschlusssystem wurde komplett überarbeitet und bietet dank der feinen Politur aller Kontaktflächen weiche und leise Repetiervorgänge, die ihresgleichen suchen. Der Auszieher garantiert auch bei eventuellen Verformungen der Hülse eine saubere Funktion und verlässliches Auswerfen. Einzigartiger Verschluss Was die Mercury Tactical Evo Black .223 aber wirklich einzigartig macht, ist der Verbau des komplett über dem Schaft liegenden Verschlusses.
