When shooting with the pistol, optical sights improve the hit rate at any distance. A faster target transition and quicker target acquisition are also possible.
Modular Optic System For the use of red dot sights on the pistol, Glock has designed the MOS series. "MOS" stands for "Modular Optic System." These pistols have an interface on which various red dot sight devices can be mounted. Unfortunately, there is no uniform standard here, so Glock offers different adapter plates for various manufacturers, with a total of 8 versions.
large frame Adapter plate No. 8 is intended for optics with a so-called "large frame" (slide width of 27.5 mm and 28.5 mm). This concerns the two manufacturers Leupold and Eotech. The plate is made of steel. 3 M3x6 Torx screws with pre-applied thread locker are included in the delivery.
