With models from the ATX/STX and BTX series, Swarovski deviates from the product philosophy of other spotting scope providers. The Tyrolean company offers these telescopes not separately as spotting scope body and eyepiece, but

the reversing system, which is otherwise located in the spotting scope body, firmly connected with the eyepiece as a module and
the pure objective as a changeable module.

High magnification with constant image brightness
The 115-mm objective module has a twilight number of about 59 at 30x magnification, which increases to up to 90 at 70x magnification. This, along with the high image brightness in conjunction with the large exit pupil, allows you to still recognize details deep into twilight where smaller diameters fail. With the ATX and STX eyepiece module, you achieve a 30-70x magnification with the 115-mm objective module, and with the BTX eyepiece module, a 30x magnification.

High-quality material processing
The lenses of the 115-mm objective module are coated with the proven Swarovision technologies. They are also protected on the side towards the eyepiece module with a protective glass, so that no contamination enters the objective body when changing the eyepiece module. The housing is robust, and the green rubber coating effectively protects the objective module from impacts. It is pressure-waterproof up to a water depth of 4 m.
