The use of silencers is becoming increasingly popular, and the barrels of rifles are therefore usually shorter for a compact length. Blaser does not skimp on this either and has specifically developed the caliber 8.5x55 Blaser to achieve the best possible ballistic values. Even barrels with lengths of less than 50 cm can achieve the same values as weapons with longer barrels.
This ammunition offers an unusually wide range of applications thanks to the 8.5 mm bullet diameter and 10.4 g heavy bullets. Hunting game in the local area is just as possible as hunting moose or large antelopes.

Diese Munition bietet dank des 8,5 mm großen Geschossdurchmessers und dem Gewicht von 10,4 g ein breites Einsatzfeld. Die Jagd auf das Wild unserer Region ist ebenso möglich wie die Jagd auf Elche und Großantilopen.
