The original adapter plate No. 2 from Glock for upgrading your MOS pistol with a sight device
When shooting with the pistol, optical sights improve the hit rate at any distance. A faster target transition and quicker target acquisition are also possible. The adapter plate No. 2 is part of the standard configuration for pistol sets.
Modular Optic System
For the use of red dot sights on the pistol, Glock has designed the MOS series. "MOS" stands for "Modular Optic System." These pistols have an interface on which various red dot sight devices can be mounted. Unfortunately, there is no uniform standard here, so Glock offers different adapter plates for various manufacturers, with a total of 8 versions.
small frame
The adapter plate No. 2 is intended for optics with a so-called "small frame" (slide width of 25.5 mm). This concerns the manufacturers Trijicon, Holosun – except for the 509 – and Ameriglo. The plate is made of steel. 3 M3x6 Torx screws with pre-applied thread locker are included in the delivery.

Beim Schießen mit der Pistole verbessern optische Visiere die Trefferquote auf jeder Distanz. Auch ein schnellerer Zielwechsel und eine schnellere Zielerfassung sind damit möglich. Die Adapterplatte Nr. 2 gehört zu der Standardkonfiguration für Pistolensets.
Modular Optic System
Für den Einsatz von Rotpunktvisieren auf der Pistole hat Glock die MOS-Reihe konzipiert. „MOS“ steht für „Modular Optic System“. Diese Pistolen haben eine Schnittstelle, auf der diverse Leuchtpunktzielgeräte montiert werden können. Da es hier leider keinen einheitlichen Standard gibt, bietet Glock für die verschiedenen Hersteller verschiedene Adapterplatten an, insgesamt gibt es 8 Versionen.

Die Adapterplatte Nr. 2 ist für Optiken mit einem sogenannten „small frame“ (Schlittenbreite von 25,5 mm) gedacht. Dies betrifft hier die Hersteller Trijicon, Holosun – außer dem 509 – und Ameriglo. Die Platte ist aus Stahl gefertigt. 3 M3x6-Torx-Schrauben mit vorbereiteter Schraubensicherung sind im Lieferumfang vorhanden.
