The Blaser D99 Combination Gun in Standard Configuration Impresses with Its Optimal Bedding
If you manage mixed populations of game and small game in your hunting area, it is obvious to combine a double-barrel shotgun with a stalking rifle to always have the necessary shooting option. With the D99, Blaser has perfected this combination.
The Barrels
The D99 combination gun features two shotgun barrels and an upper rifle barrel. The gunsmiths at Blaser have managed to keep each barrel free of tension directly above the cartridge chamber in the saddle mount, so that their vibration behavior is not affected. This ensures that the point of impact remains consistent even with rapid follow-up shots. The nitriding of the barrels optimally protects them from damage and corrosion. In the standard configuration presented here, the barrel has a length of 58 cm and is equipped with a sight.
The Break-Action Lock
In addition to the described bedding of the barrels, the break-action lock contributes to the precision of the shots. In the Blaser D99 combination gun, the high strength of the lock guarantees the longevity of your hunting rifle.
Cocking and Decocking
The D99 combination gun features a double-trigger system for simultaneous manual cocking, allowing you to take a second shot immediately without re-cocking. The safety system of the over-and-under combination gun is based on relaxed firing pin springs. You can operate the cocking lever almost silently before the shot. If you do not take the shot, you can easily decock and thus secure your rifle.
The Triggers
The Blaser combination gun has two triggers.
- To fire the lower barrels, press the selector switch down; the front trigger fires the shot in the right barrel, and the rear trigger fires the shot in the left barrel.
- To fire the upper barrel and the lower left barrel, press the selector switch up – a red dot in the selector switch becomes visible – the front trigger fires the shot in the upper barrel, and the rear trigger fires the shot in the lower left barrel.
The fine triggers from Blaser have a good reputation – rightly so. The trigger characteristics at the crucial moment before the shot are brilliant and allow for controlled hitting.
The System
The surfaces of the system are anodized for protection, with attention paid to the environmental compatibility of the process. The sides of the receiver of the D99 combination gun are adorned with an elegant border engraving featuring small arabesques.
The Stock
The fore-end and buttstock are made from Class 3 wood. The buttstock features a Bavarian cheek piece, while the narrow fore-end has a black finish.
Maintenance
For cleaning and maintenance, you can quickly and easily disassemble the D99 combination gun into its parts and then just as conveniently reassemble it. You do not have to worry about shifts in the point of impact; after sighting in, you will have absolute repeat accuracy.

Wenn Sie in Ihrem Revier gemischte Bestände von Nieder- und Schalenwild betreuen, liegt es auf der Hand, eine Doppelflinte mit einer Pirschbüchse zu verbinden, um jederzeit die nötige Schuss-Option zu haben. Mit dem Drilling D99 hat Blaser diese Kombination perfektioniert.
Die LäufeDer Drilling D 99 verfügt über zwei Schrotläufe und einen obenliegenden Kugellauf. Dabei haben es die Büchsenmacher von Blaser geschafft, bei der Sattelmontage direkt über dem Patronenlage jeden Lauf spannungsfrei freiliegend zu halten, damit deren Schwingungsverhalten nicht beeinflusst wird. Dadurch bleibt die Treffpunktlage auch bei schnellen Folgeschüssen konstant. Die Nitrierung der Läufe schützt sie optimal vor Beschädigungen und Korrosion. In der hier vorgestellten Standard-Ausführung hat der Lauf eine Länge von 58 cm und ist mit einer Visierung versehen.
Der KippblockverschlussNeben der beschriebenen Bettung der Läufe trägt der Kippblockverschluss seinen Anteil an der Präzision der Schüsse. Bei dem Blaser D99 Drilling garantiert die hohe Festigkeit des Verschlusses die Langlebigkeit Ihres Jagdgewehrs.
Spannen und entspannenKomfortabel ist bei dem D99 Drilling das Doppelschloss-System für simultane Handspannung. Sie haben damit ohne Nachspannen sofort einen zweiten Schuss. Das Sicherungssystem des Bockdrillings basiert auf entspannten Schlagbolzenfedern. Den Spannungsschieber betätigen Sie vor dem Schuss fast lautlos. Kommen Sie dann nicht zum Schuss, können Sie ebensoleicht wieder entspannen und somit Ihr Gewehr sichern.
Die AbzügeDer Blaser Drilling hat zwei Abzüge.
- Für die Schussabgabe der unteren Läufe drücken Sie den Umschaltschieber nach unten, der vordere Abzug löst den Schuss im rechten Lauf, der hintere Abzug den Schuss im linken Lauf aus.
- Für die Schussabgabe des oberen Laufes und des unteren linken Laufes drücken Sie den Umschaltschieber nach oben – ein roter Punkt im Umschaltschieber wird sichtbar –, der vordere Abzug löst den Schuss im oberen Lauf aus und der hintere Abzug löst den Schuss im linken unteren Lauf aus.
Die Feinabzüge von Blaser genießen einen guten Ruf – zurecht. Die Abzugcharakteristik ist in dem wichtigen Augenblick vor dem Schuss brillant und ermöglicht ein kontrolliertes Treffen.
Das SystemDie Oberflächen des Systems sind zu ihrem Schutz eloxiert, wobei auf die Umweltverträglichkeit des Verfahrens geachtet wurde. Die Seiten der Basküle sind bei dem D99 Drilling mit einer edlen Randstichgravur mit kleinen Arabesken versehen.
Der SchaftVorder- und Hinterschaft sind aus Holz der Klasse 3 gefertigt. Der Hinterschaft hat eine bayerischer Backe, der schmale Vorderschaft einen schwarzen Abschluss.
Wartung
Zur Reinigung und zur Wartung können Sie den D99 Drilling schnell und einfach in seine Teile zerlegen und anschließend ebenso bequem wieder zusammensetzen. Sie müssen sich dabei um Treffpunktverlagerungen keine Gedanken machen, nach dem Einschießen haben Sie eine absolute Wiederholgenauigkeit.
