In the modular world of the Blaser R8, the Ultimate versions represent a modernity that is expressed in the style and form of the stock. In this version, the fore-end is designed for the integration of a suppressor. It dampens the gunshot noise by 28 dB, and since its mass is evenly distributed along the barrel length, it does not negatively affect the oscillation behavior of the rifle.
The two-part brown-black stock features black elastomer inserts on the grip surfaces and the stock back, providing a firm grip in every hunting situation. It is ergonomically well thought out, the recoil pad effectively compensates for recoil, and the matte black receiver blends in visually.
The receiver is made of Dural and finished in matte black, on which a gold-colored R8 logo shines. The firing pin safety relaxes the firing spring, which is only tensioned before the shot. This ensures safe handling. The dry direct trigger releases with a resistance of 750 g without delay.

Der zweiteilige braunschwarze Schaft hat an den Griffflächen und am Schaftrücken schwarze Elastomer-Einlagen, die bei jeder Jagdsituation einen festen Halt bieten. Er ist ergonomisch wohldurchdacht, die Schaftkappe kompensiert den Rückstoß wirksam und der mattschwarze Systemkasten fügt sich optisch gut ein.
Der Systemkasten ist aus Dural gefertigt und mit einem mattschwarzen Finish versehen, auf dem ein goldfarbenes R8-Logo prangt. Die Schlagbolzensicherung entspannt die Schlagfeder, gespannt wird erst vor dem Schuss. Damit ist ein ungefährdetes Handling gewehrleistet. Der trockenstehende Direktabzug löst bei einem Widerstand von 750 g ohne Verzug aus.
