The Steyr Scout Rifle MUD in caliber 6.5 mm Creedmoor is a modern multipurpose bolt-action rifle based on the concept of a "Scout Rifle" defined by Jeff Cooper: compact, lightweight, precise, robust, and versatile. The 6.5 Creedmoor caliber is known for its excellent ballistic performance at medium and long distances while having moderate recoil – ideal for hunting and sport long-range shooting.
Particularly noteworthy are the integrated bipod in the stock, the backup sights, the secondary magazine compartment, and the high manufacturing quality "Made in Austria." The variant in MUD color (earth tone) offers a hunting-appropriate appearance.
