The new HLX suppressor from Merkel was developed in cooperation with the Swiss specialist B&T. It fits on any barrel with a muzzle thread of M15x1. The Merkel HLX suppressor demonstrably reduces the peak sound pressure of the muzzle blast in all calibers by at least 30 dB(C). Additionally, it reduces recoil when firing. With a suppressor barrel, the barrel with the attached suppressor is no longer than a standard barrel.

Der Merkel HLX Suppressor reduziert nachweislich den Spitzenschalldruck des Mündungsknalls in allen Kalibern um mindestens 30 dB(C) Ausserdem reduziert er den Rückstoß beim Schuss. Mit einem Suppressor-Lauf ist der Lauf mit aufgeschraubtem Suppressor nicht länger als ein Standardlauf.
