La marqueterie par l’ébéniste d’art Bruno Chaperon transforme le classique N°08 : le mélange de quatre bois différents joue sur les contrastes et en fait un objet unique.
Les manches des couteaux Chaperon sont réalisés avec quatre essences de bois, le wengé (Cameroun/Gabon), le palissandre dos santos (Brésil), le noyer (France) et le frêne (France). Les feuilles de plaquage quant à elles sont faites en érable ou en noyer américain.
Le wengé est un bois sombre au veinage précis et raffiné qui viendra donner de la texture au manche
Le palissandre, est un bois tropical dont les nuances brunes, orangées, ou rousses apportent du caractère et de la couleur
Le noyer, bois dense aux teintes sombres viendra donner du contraste à l’ensemble du manche
Le frêne, bois clair et homogène d’aspect apportera de la luminosité et viendra sublimer le travail de marqueterie réalisé sur ces couteaux
Équipé d’une lame Inoxydable de 8,5 cm et d’un manche très résistant, il est à la fois pratique et compact. Son système Virobloc® permet à l’utilisateur de se déplacer et de travailler en toute sécurité.
