La goupille de rétention du buffer, ou buffer retainer pin, est la petite goupille à ressort qui bloque la masselotte (buffer) dans le tube de crosse. Elle empêche le buffer et son ressort de jaillir quand on ouvre l’arme. Pièce discrète mais qui saute facilement au démontage, donc bonne à avoir en rechange.
Rôle dans le mécanisme
Logée à l’avant du tube de crosse, sous tension de son propre petit ressort, cette goupille fait saillie dans le tube et retient le buffer en position. Pour sortir le buffer, on l’enfonce avec la pointe d’un outil. C’est elle qui sécurise l’ensemble buffer-ressort lorsqu’on sépare le boîtier supérieur de l’inférieur.
Matiere et compatibilite
Acier traité, dimensionné pour les manipulations répétées de démontage. Aux cotes Mil-Spec, elle s’installe sur les boîtiers inférieurs AR-15 / M4 standard. Elle se monte avec son ressort dédié : tenez la goupille au moment de visser le tube de crosse, sous peine de la voir partir.
