How can I create a user account?

The Gunfinder profile is free of charge and can be used for various functions - for example, to communicate with sellers on Gunfinder and to buy or sell products safely. You can easily create your profile by clicking on the user icon in the upper right corner of the home page. The icon is in the top right corner of our website. A drop-down menu will open with the "Register" option at the bottom. Click on it, enter your data and you will receive an email from us in which you can confirm your registration.

What features does the user account allow?

Once you have created a Gunfinder account, you can use several features. You can post your own offers online and offer products to other users via Gunfinder. If you want to get rid of your products immediately, you can also offer them directly to us as an instant sale - we will make you an offer - if you accept, we will pick up the goods at a time of your choosing. Other functions include writing messages to other users, saving searches, and search orders - in short, the user profile offers numerous functions that facilitate the safe search for weapons and ammunition.

How can I change my user data?

On every Gunfinder page you will find the user icon in the top right corner. If you are not registered or logged in yet, you can do so by clicking on it and following the instructions.

If you are already logged in, you will also see the menu item "My Profile" when you click on the icon. When you click on it, you have several options, for example, to change your password, your username, your email address or to manage your offers.

How can I confirm my identity?

Click on the user icon in the top/right corner. Click on the menu item "My profile" to get to the administration of your user data, advertisements and notepads. There you can also choose the option of identity verification. There the identity check is described in detail and accompanied. Please have a valid identification document ready for the identity check.

Can I rate other users on Gunfinder?

We have not yet integrated the possibility to rate other users on Gunfinder. However, if you notice a negative user, we ask you to point out this profile to us. If you see an offer that is not in accordance with the law, for example because the offered weapon is falsely identified as EWB-free or violates the Weapons Act, we ask you to bring it to our attention. At the bottom of each offer page you will find a button with the inscription "Report advertisement". In the report form, to which you will then be linked, you can briefly describe the reasons why you find the advertisement suspicious.
