Tikka T3/T3x/T1x and Sako 75/85/A7 system screws made of titanium

These system screws are a replacement for the system screws of a Tikka T3/T3x/T1x or Sako 75/85/A7 rifle. The system screws are sold as a set, which includes a front system screw (short) and a rear system screw (long).

Why should you switch to our titanium system screws?

Better corrosion resistance than stainless steel.
Same strength as alloy steel screws and higher strength than stainless steel screws. Our titanium screws meet the strength class 10.9 (typical, at least 9.9) for alloy screws. Stainless steel screws are generally only available up to class A4-80, which is roughly equivalent to strength class 8.8 for alloy steel screws. The class A2-70 is most commonly used, so stainless steel screws are generally somewhat "softer" than alloy steel screws.
For all fans of ultra-light mountain rifles – lighter than steel at the same strength.

To convince ourselves of the quality of the screws, we conducted some destruction tests. We destroyed the T25 bit before we could tear out the internal profile. Additionally, we placed a screw in a salt solution for several weeks – so far we are still waiting for any signs of corrosion to appear on the screws. Therefore, we are convinced that these screws fulfill their purpose perfectly.

Depending on the shape and condition of the bit used to tighten the system screws, it may happen that the upper edge of the internal profile shows signs of wear or abrasion after some time of use. This does not constitute a defect of the screw and does not qualify for a warranty claim on the screws. We always recommend using high-quality bits and tools that show no signs of wear to minimize the wear of the system screws.

We recommend using a torque wrench and not exceeding the torque values specified by Tikka/Sako when tightening the system screws. The manufacturer specifies a maximum torque of 7 Nm (62 in-lbs) for metal trigger guards and a maximum of 5 Nm (44 in-lbs) for plastic trigger guards. Exceeding these values may cause damage to your rifle and excessive wear/damage to the system screws.

Um uns von der Qualität der Schrauben zu überzeugen, haben wir einige Zerstörungsversuche durchgeführt. Wir haben den T25-Bit zerstört, bevor wir die Innenprofil ausreißen konnten. Außerdem haben wir eine Schraube einige Wochen lang in eine Salzlösung gelegt – bisher warten wir noch darauf, dass sich irgendwelche Korrosionsspuren auf den Schrauben zeigen. Wir sind daher überzeugt, dass diese Schrauben ihren Zweck vollkommen erfüllen.

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, einen Drehmomentschlüssel zu verwenden und die von Tikka/Sako angegebenen Drehmomente beim Anziehen der Systemschrauben nicht zu überschreiten. Der Hersteller gibt ein maximales Drehmoment von 7 Nm (62 in-lbs) für Metallabzugsbügel und maximal 5 Nm (44 in-lbs) für Kunststoffabzugsbügel an. Eine Überschreitung dieser Werte kann zu Schäden an Ihrem Büchse und zu übermäßigem Verschleiß/Beschädigungen der Systemschrauben führen.
