When using a suppressor, the gas blowback into the user's face is not only annoying but also a health risk, especially in enclosed shooting ranges. The new RBS suppressor significantly reduces the amount of combustion gases from the ejection port and the charging handle. While normal suppressors can increase the rate of fire by more than 30% due to gas pressure buildup, measurements have shown that with the RBS, the increase in rate of fire is only about 4%, which also greatly reduces wear on the weapon. The black coating is made of heat-resistant Cerakote.

Bei Verwendung eines Schalldämpfers ist der Gasrückstoß in das Gesicht des Anwenders nicht nur störend, sondern auch ein Gesundheitsrisiko, insbesondere auf geschlossenen Schießständen. Der neue RBS-Suppressor reduziert die Menge der Verbrennungsgase aus dem Auswurffenster und dem Ladegriff erheblich. Während normale Suppressoren die Kadenz aufgrund des Gasdrückstaus um bis zu mehr als 30% erhöhen, haben Messungen gezeigt, dass mit dem RBS die Kadenzerhöhung nur rund 4% beträgt, was auch die Abnutzung der Waffe stark reduziert. Die schwarze Lackierung besteht aus hitzebeständigem Cerakote.
