Il semplice passeggiare per cime imbiancate in cerca di una pernice bianca, diventa allora, per l’uomo di oggi, un sublime privilegio di ritorno alle origini, di ritorno alla libertà. Il rugolio dei galli in arena o l’eco del cicaleccio metallico della coturnice risvegliano, nell’ascoltatore attento e sensibile agli eventi naturali e ai rumori della natura, istinti primordiali. I Tetraonidi e la coturnice sono un sogno che resiste sulle Alpi, in questa nostra era definita antropocene, sempre più inquinata, calda e rumorosa.
L’AUTORE: Angelo Lasagna è nato ad Aosta nel 1978 e vive con la famiglia in montagna, nella Valle del Gran San Bernardo. Nel 2007 si è Laureato in Produzioni Animali, Gestione e Conservazione della Fauna. Dal 2012 ad oggi, è titolare del Corso “Riconoscimento e gestione dei Galliformi di montagna” rivolto agli studenti che aspirano a diventare tecnici faunistici. Autoredi monografie e articoli scientifici su tematiche venatorie. Concepisce il patrimonio faunistico come una importante risorsa naturale rinnovabile e l’attività venatoria sostenibile nel lungo periodo solo se le esigenze di conservazione della fauna selvatica sono prioritariamente considerate rispetto a qualsiasi altra esigenza antropica
