Dopo circa 2 anni di utilizzo, è probabile che si verifichi un deterioramento delle prestazioni della batteria ricaricabile del timer CED7000 . Questo è normale e una situazione comune a tutti i telefoni cellulari.
È possibile acquistare una nuova batteria e sostituirla autonomamente; tuttavia, è necessario farlo con cautela, poiché i piccoli connettori e i componenti del timer possono danneggiarsi facilmente se maneggiati in modo improprio.
È sempre possibile scegliere di far sostituire la batteria da noi: in tal caso, è necessario inviarci il timer e addebiteremo solo la batteria e le spese di spedizione.
Se si sceglie di sostituire la batteria autonomamente, seguire queste istruzioni:
rimuovere le piccole viti dal retro del timer e, utilizzando un coltello a lama piatta, aprire le due metà del timer. Provare a sbloccare entrambi i lati prima di separarli delicatamente: è necessario estrarre le metà in modo rettilineo, non inclinandole, poiché ci sono due serie di spine che vengono scollegate quando si separano le parti.
** Nei modelli più vecchi, le due metà sono collegate da fili (solo prima e seconda produzione, per i timer risalenti a giugno-luglio 2006). In questo caso, non separare troppo le parti, per evitare di staccare i fili.
Scollegare la vecchia batteria e inserire quella nuova. Utilizzare un pezzo di nastro biadesivo o colla a caldo per tenerla in posizione in modo che non oscilli. Riassemblare il timer, prestando attenzione ad allineare correttamente i connettori e la piccola linguetta di plastica tra i pulsanti superiori “Start” e “Review”. Premere le due metà insieme fino a quando non scattano in posizione e rimontare le viti.
Non serrare eccessivamente le viti!
Smaltire la vecchia batteria secondo le normative.
