LPA SPS · 3-Point · Rock Island 1911 / Armscor
The crucial point is not “Ruger,” but the exact LPA code SPS21RU30 This adjustable LPA sight set officially belongs to the Rock Island 1911 / Armscor platform according to the official LPA order table. The previous assignment to Ruger Mark IV was thus a risk of a bad purchase.
The ending 30 indicates the version with white dots. Mechanical fit still takes priority over sight picture: the existing mount and firearm variant must match the LPA set.
Black-Raptor Buying Guide
The SPS21RU30 is interesting if you’re looking for a low-profile, adjustable sight with a clear three-point orientation for a suitable Rock Island / Armscor 1911. It’s not a universal 1911 solution and definitely not a Ruger Mark IV set.
Fits well if … … your pistol belongs to the Rock Island 1911 / Armscor family named by LPA, the existing sight mount is unchanged, and you prefer a classic three-point sight picture.
Probably doesn’t fit if … … you’re only buying a similarly looking 1911 rear sight, the mount has already been modified, or you actually want to equip a Ruger Mark IV.
Read compatibility correctly
Manufacturer code first SPS21RU30 is the reliable identity. Shopify SKU 806237 is the shop/supplier ID and not to be equated with the LPA code.
Platform according to LPA Rock Island 1911 / Armscor. The older shop assignment to Ruger Mark IV was factually wrong and has been corrected.
Sight picture end code 30: white dots. This helps with quick orientation but does not replace proper top edge alignment and correct sight height.
What counts before ordering Check model, existing rear sight/front sight mount, and any modifications. A 1911 designation alone is no proof of fit.
Limits, disadvantages
and typical bad purchases
No universal set: SPS21RU30 cannot be transferred to other 1911 platforms just because the contour looks similar.
No Ruger set: The previous Mark-IV assignment was a wrong code interpretation.
3-point is a matter of taste: If you prefer the calmest, blackest match picture possible, you should choose a different version.
Assembly condition matters: already milled, reworked or differently equipped slides can change the fit.
Technical data with practical interpretation

FAQ
Does SPS21RU30 fit on Ruger Mark IV? No. The official LPA table assigns SPS21RU30 to Rock Island 1911 / Armscor. What does the suffix 30 mean? It stands for the version with white dots in the LPA table. Is "1911" enough as a compatibility indication? No. Check the specific firearm variant and the existing sight mount. Similar contours are not a measure of fit. Is this a single rear sight? No, SPS21RU30 is listed as a sight set and includes rear sight plus matching front sight.
Black Raptor · Avoiding bad purchases before marketing
Buy SPS21RU30 only if Rock Island 1911 / Armscor and the actual mount match. Do not decide based on the old Ruger title, image similarity, or just "1911". (Show description in original language)

LPA SPS · 3-Punkt · Rock Island 1911 / Armscor
Plattform laut LPA Rock Island 1911 / Armscor.
