KRG · Remington 700 · Bolt Lift
Bolt Lift or Bolt Lift SV: more gripping surface on the standard Remington 700 bolt handle This product includes regular Bolt Lift color variants and separately the more compact Bolt Lift SV version. Both attach to the standard Remington 700 bolt handle – they are not universal bolt lift knobs for any bolt-action rifle.
Mistake killer: The SV features only apply to the "Bolt Lift SV Black" variant.
Our honest assessment
A Bolt Lift does not change the system’s mechanics but the hand contact surface on the existing bolt handle. This can improve access if the factory geometry is too small or hard to grip in your own shooting position.
KRG offers the classic Bolt Lift and the more compact Bolt Lift SV as different models. The previous product title mixed these variants too much; therefore, the selection is now explicitly separated.
Fits well if … … a standard Remington 700 bolt handle is present and more gripping surface is desired.
… you want to try a clamp-on grip extension before a permanent modification.
Fits less well if … … the bolt handle has already been heavily modified or only a Remington 700 footprint without a matching factory handle is available.
… you want to
dem chassis name or a similarly shaped bolt you derive compatibility from.
Variant selection
Bolt Lift – Black / FDE / O.D. Green These color variants are treated as classic Bolt Lift versions. SV-specific statements do not apply to them.
Bolt Lift SV Black SV stands for Small Version: more compact and slimmer than the classic Bolt Lift, with a grippy surface according to KRG.
Fit on factory stock KRG refers to the standard bolt handle of the Remington 700. Factory handles may have dimensional variation; do not force fit by overtightening.
Reversible testing The KRG solution initially allows adjustable mounting. This way, ergonomics can be evaluated before considering a more permanent connection.
Limits and risk of wrong purchase
A Remington 700-compatible chassis is not proof of fit for the Bolt Lift. The actual bolt handle is decisive.
For unusually large, modified, or aftermarket bolt handles, fit must be clarified before purchase. The screw must not "pull away" due to shape differences.
You can find more KRG accessories in the KRG collection.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Counterpart Factory standard bolt handle of a Remington 700.
SV material Reinforced polymer; metal parts made of stainless steel according to KRG.
SV tool KRG specifies 5/32-inch hex key. No reason to overtighten.
Benefit More or more targeted gripping surface – no change to locking, system performance, or trigger characteristics.
Scope of delivery
For the SV version, KRG confirms two reinforced polymer halves, stainless steel screw, reinforcement pins, and spacers. The bolt itself is not included. For the classic color variants, the SV parts list is not automatically transferred.
FAQ
What is the difference between Bolt Lift and Bolt Lift SV? SV is the smaller, slimmer version. The normal color variants on this page are not treated as SV. Does it fit every Remington 700 footprint? No. KRG bases the fit on the factory Remington 700 bolt handle, not universally on every action with a similar footprint. Does the factory handle have to be permanently modified? Not necessarily. The benefit of the KRG solution is precisely to initially fit and evaluate the grip enlargement. Can I transfer the SV data to Black, FDE, or O.D. Green? No. These variants are treated as classic Bolt Lift versions; SV data only applies to "Bolt Lift SV Black".
Black Raptor · Separate model cleanly
The Bolt Lift is an ergonomic component, not a universal part. First check the real Remington 700 bolt handle and then consciously choose between classic version and SV.

Variantenwahl
Bolt Lift – Black / FDE / O.D.

SV-Werkzeug KRG nennt 5/32-Zoll-Innensechskant. Kein Anlass, übermäßig fest anzuziehen.
Nutzen Mehr beziehungsweise gezieltere Greiffläche – keine Veränderung von Verriegelung, Systemleistung oder Abzugscharakteristik.
Lieferumfang
Nein.
Black Raptor · Modell sauber trennen
