Mossberg 500/590/590A1 · 12GA · Ergonomics
Magpul SGA Stock: useful if you want the Mossberg to fit you better at the shoulder The SGA is a buttstock for compatible Mossberg 500, 590, and 590A1 in 12GA. Its real added value is the adjustable stock length and a more controlled grip and shoulder position.
Distinction: This item is the buttstock. A matching forend is not automatically included.
Black-Raptor classification
The stock is especially worth it if the standard shoulder fit doesn’t work well with a jacket, body armor, or different shooters. The spacer system allows for a more sensible length adjustment. The benefit comes from fit and repeatability, not from looks.
Fits well if … … you use a compatible Mossberg 500/590/590A1 in 12GA and want to adjust stock length, shoulder placement, and grip position.
Fits less if … … you are looking for 20GA, Remington 870, a wooden stock, or a complete set including forend.
Features and practical effect
Spacer system Allows better adjustment of stock length to body shape and real clothing.
SGA grip ergonomics The hand position is more controlled than with many classic standard stocks, without converting to a pistol grip solution.
Polymer construction Easy to maintain and resistant for range, field, and transport.
Four colors Black, FDE, Orange, and Stealth Gray do not change the technical function.
Limits, disadvantages, and avoiding a bad purchase
Check model and caliber carefully on your own system. “Mossberg” alone is not enough. If you also use a high scope or special sight line, the head and cheek position must be evaluated separately. The stock does not fix incorrect scope height. A
Additionally, the fore-end is not included.
Technical data with practical interpretation

FAQ
Does the SGA fit 20GA? This product page is designed for the 12GA version. Automatic 20GA compatibility cannot be assumed.
Is the fore-end included? No. This listing is for the stock.
Why is length adjustment important? Because clothing, body shape, and shooting position can significantly change the distance to the shoulder.
Black Raptor · Ergonomics over optics
The SGA makes sense if your Mossberg 12GA fits technically and you want to make the shooting position more reproducible. Those actually looking for a complete set or another platform should go directly for the appropriate variant. (Show description in original language)

Mossberg 500/590/590A1 · 12GA · Ergonomie
