Seissiger Base-Cam LTE SUPERSIM – reliable game camera with LTE and black flash
If you’re not on site at the game trail, the camera must report reliably. The Seissiger Base-Cam LTE SUPERSIM is the robust entry-level solution for game monitoring, baiting sites, trails, and property control with LTE image transmission.
It’s especially useful if you want a straightforward wireless game camera that delivers images via app and doesn’t need to be checked out every time.
Why exactly this product?
✔ 12 MP photos according to manufacturer
✔ WVGA/HD video depending on mode according to datasheet
✔ LTE image transmission via SUPERSIM
✔ Invisible infrared/black flash
✔ Free SUPERSIM app according to manufacturer
✔ Includes batteries/accessories depending on set
Why this Seissiger game camera?
A game camera is only useful if location, flash type, power supply, and app workflow fit the use. That’s why choosing the right model is important – not every camera is ideal for every spot.
Document baiting sites and trails
Reduce game pressure because you need to check less often
Receive recordings via LTE/app
Make location decisions based on images instead of gut feeling
Black flash or white flash – choose consciously
Black flash: discreet, ideal for shy game and sensitive spots. White flash: visible, but with color night shots and more documentation value. The right choice depends on whether discretion or image information is more important.

Our assessment
The Base-Cam is the pragmatic choice when reliable reporting is more important than maximum photo/video resolution. For many baiting sites, trails, and simple game monitoring, this is exactly enough.
The biggest mistake with game cameras is not the wrong camera, but the wrong location: too high, wrongly aimed, too close to vegetation, or directly facing the sun. A strong camera can’t fully compensate for poor mounting.
User tip: don’t mount the camera like a photo trap, but like a game management tool
Aim the camera slightly angled to the trail, not exactly frontal. This way the animal stays longer in the detection area, movements are better recognized, and you get more usable images instead of empty triggers. Avoid branches, grass, and direct sunlight in the sensor field.
Who it’s suitable for
Hunters: for baiting site, trail, and game monitoring
Hunting communities: if images should be shared with multiple users
Property protection: for locations without power supply
Nature observers: to document animal activity
Base-Cam application areas
Monitor baiting sites without daily game pressure
Check trails before planning a stand hunt
Vehicle/yard/property control without power connection
Entry into SUPERSIM cameras with lower complexity

FAQ
When is the Base-Cam the right choice?
If you want reliable LTE notifications and simple game management without needing maximum 2K video quality.
Is the flash visible?
The Base-Cam works with invisible black flash/infrared light, making it less conspicuous at night than white flash cameras.
Can I use the camera via app?
Yes, the SUPERSIM edition is designed for app and LTE use.
Especially in the area of radio trail cameras, LTE game cameras, and SUPERSIM trail cameras, the right combination of flash type, location, power supply, and app workflow determines truly usable images. (Show description in original language)
