The Snugpak Special Forces Complete System X-Long is a modular sleeping bag system for demanding outdoor missions, expeditions, and winter tours. It combines two standalone sleeping bags – Special Forces 1 and Special Forces 2 – into a flexible system that adapts to different temperatures and conditions.

The big advantage of this system lies in its modularity: Both sleeping bags can be used individually or combined. This way, a single system covers multiple temperature ranges and saves weight as well as gear.

The X-Long variant is specially designed for tall people and offers significantly more interior length than standard models.

Key Features

modular sleeping bag system made of Special Forces 1 and Special Forces 2
combinable for very low temperatures
robust and windproof Paratex Steelplate outer material
lightweight and breathable Paratex Light lining
Reflectatherm technology for better heat reflection
reinforced foot area for high durability
continuous 2-way zipper for ventilation
insulated zipper cover against cold bridges
hood with drawstring
includes zipper adapter and compression sack
Made in UK

Our Assessment (Practical Value)

The Special Forces system is one of the best-known modular sleeping bag systems in outdoor and military use. The big advantage is that you only need to take the suitable part depending on the mission.

Practical value: The Special Forces 1 is suitable for milder temperatures above freezing. The Special Forces 2 is designed for cold conditions. Combined, both form a system for temperatures down to about −20 °C.

The X-Long version with 250 cm length is especially interesting for tall people. It offers more freedom of movement and prevents sleeping bags from being too short for tall body sizes.

The reinforced foot area is a practical detail: The material is robust enough to lie in the sleeping bag even with boots on without damaging the fabric.

Snugpak Special Forces Complete System X-Long Die Langversion des modularen Systems aus Special Forces 1 und 2 für große Nutzer, die Winterreserve und flexible Saisonabdeckung brauchen.

Passt gut

Komfort/Limit: ca. −15 / −20 °C laut vorhandener Herstellerangabe – konservativ planen.

Herstellung: Made in UK.

Lieferumfang
Special Forces 1 X-Long, Special Forces 2 X-Long, Reißverschluss-Adapter und Kompressionssack.
Sichere Anwendung
FAQ
Wann X-Long statt Standard? Ist X-Long automatisch wärmer? Nein.
