HIKMICRO Habrok Pro · HX60LS 1280 × 1024, 60 mm and <15 mK: uncompromising at distance The Habrok Pro HX60LS is a multi-spectrum binocular for wide areas and demanding observation. The 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor, the 60-mm F1.0 thermal optic, <15 mK NETD, an LRF up to approx. 1000 m, and the optical day/night channel form a clearly distance-oriented combination. Important before buying: 60 mm means range and detail reserve, but also a narrower field of view. For short forest and baiting distances, this is not automatically the most comfortable solution.
Our honest assessment
This model suits users who scan large areas, want to clearly separate temperature details even under difficult conditions, and measure distances directly. The high sensor resolution brings not only range but especially image stability and reserves when zooming. The downside is weight and specialization: for quick checks in dense forest, a more compact device with a wider field of view is often more comfortable.
Fits well if … … open areas, field edges, and longer sight lines are your main territory. … you want thermal imaging, day/night channel, and distance measurement in one binocular. … maximum detail reserve is more important than minimal weight.
Fits less if … … you mostly observe at short distances in dense forest. … a particularly light, small handheld device is more important to you. … you mainly look for a wide close-range field of view.
Features and practical effect
1280 × 1024 sensor Very high detail reserve and more Image information on large areas; especially valuable when structure matters more than mere detection.
60 mm F1.0 Clear distance-oriented: more detail on wide areas, but narrower field of view up close.
<15 mK NETD Helps keep small temperature differences visible in humid air, warm backgrounds, or low contrast.
LRF up to approx. 1000 m Distances can be measured instead of estimated from the thermal image – a real practical advantage, especially in open areas.
850 nm IR Designed for range, with more visible residual glow than 940 nm solutions.
1920 × 1080 Display The high display resolution supports fine sensor information and a steady image impression.
Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases
Range is not viewing comfort: The manufacturer’s specification of up to approx. 3100 m describes detection under defined conditions, not automatically reliable detail recognition at that distance. Choose 60 mm deliberately: Large focal length is strong at distance but can feel unnecessarily narrow up close. Plan for weight: A device of this class is not an ultralight pocket monocular; longer observation benefits from a steady hand or support.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Thermal sensor 1280 × 1024 – high-end resolution for maximum image reserve.
Thermal sensitivity <15 mK – strong with low temperature contrasts.
Thermal lens 60 mm F1.0 – focus on distance and detail depth.
Detection range Up to approx. 3100 m according to manufacturer’s specification; weather- and target-dependent.
Laser rangefinder Up to approx. 1000 m according to manufacturer’s specification.
IR wavelength 850 nm – more range reserve, but less discreet than 940 nm.
Display 1920 × 1080 – high-resolution display for both observation channels.
Runtime Up to approx. 5.5 h according to manufacturer’s specification; actual runtime depends on cold, display, LRF and additional functions.
Safe use Use LRF and IR functions only as intended and according to the user manual; do not look into optical emitters or laser sources. For long nights, plan battery reserve and protect the device against drops and heavy dirt. Scope of delivery 1 × HIKMICRO Habrok Pro HX60LS. The further accessory scope is not fully detailed in the currently stored Shopify data; the manufacturer/packaging scope of the delivered goods is decisive. FAQ For which hunting area profile is the HX60LS especially useful? Mainly for open areas, field hunting, long sight lines, and professional observation where detail reserve is more important than minimal weight. Why isn’t 60 mm automatically better for everyone? Because the longer focal length brings distance detail but narrows the field of view up close. What does the 1280 × 1024 sensor provide? More image information, better detail reserve, and more room for digital zoom than smaller sensors. What does <15 mK mean in practice? The device can better separate small temperature differences, which helps especially in humid air, warm ground, and low contrast. How far does the LRF measure? Up to approx. 1000 m according to manufacturer’s specification. Black Raptor · Distance class with a clear mission The HX60LS is the right choice if you really use maximum thermal image resolution, strong distance optics, and integrated rangefinding. For short forest stretches, smaller is not worse – often even more pleasant there.
