Backup for long nights When the first battery is empty, the searchlight stays ready for use In tracking, securing, or longer outdoor missions, not only the maximum light output matters, but also the available reserve. The NEXTORCH BA30 is the complete replacement battery module for Saint Torch 11, Saint Torch 30, and Saint Torch 30 V2.0 – with USB-C charging and 5-V power bank function. Check compatibility and use
Our honest assessment
The BA30 makes sense if a matching Saint-Torch spotlight must not wait for a charging break. Instead of swapping loose cells in the field, the entire module is exchanged. This is clear and protects the matched pack configuration. The downside: At 326.2 g, the reserve is noticeably heavy, and compatibility is tightly limited. The BA30 is not approved for Saint Torch 30C and Saint Torch 31. Similar model names or a similarly looking housing are therefore not sufficient purchase criteria.
Fits well if … you own a Saint Torch 11, Saint Torch 30, or Saint Torch 30 V2.0 and are looking for a complete spare or additional module for longer missions. you want to charge the battery directly via USB-C or use it as a power bank with 5 V/2 A if needed.
Fits less if … you use a Saint Torch 30C or Saint Torch 31, want to swap individual 18650 cells, or only a le ichte Notfall-Powerbank brauchst. du die exakte Modellgeneration deines Scheinwerfers nicht sicher bestimmen kannst – dann zuerst Typenschild oder Herstellerunterlagen prüfen.
What the features mean in practice
Modular pack The complete battery can be detached as a unit from the lamp head. A charged second module shortens the interruption compared to a full charging break.
USB-C up to 18 W The manufacturer states about three hours to full charge with a suitable power source. According to the instructions, the indicator changes from red to green while charging.
Power bank with 5 V / 2 A In USB mode, the pack can power other electronics. This is practical but draws energy that will then be missing for the headlamp.
37.44 Wh instead of a calculation trick Four cells with 2,600 mAh each operate in series in the pack. The relevant values are 14.4 V, 2,600 mAh, and 37.44 Wh – not an arbitrarily transferable “10,400 mAh power bank” at 5 V.
Trainer and user tips
Don’t just carry a reserve, manage it: label battery modules with charging or test dates and use them alternately. This way, a pack won’t go unnoticed for months deeply discharged in your bag. Triple check before use: model designation, charge status, and condition of threads, contacts, and seals. Do not continue using the pack if damaged, deformed, or unusually warm. Use the power bank function consciously: first secure the energy needs of the lighting task. Charging a phone is a reserve function and not free power without impact on remaining runtime.
Which alternative really fits?
BA30 as a second module The right choice for Saint Torch 11, 30, and 30 V2.0 if you want to continue lighting immediately after swapping.
Normal USB power bank Lighter and more universal for phone or navigation, but not a directly usable lamp module. During recharging, the headlamp depends on the existing battery.
Saint Torch 30C and 31 These models use different battery systems. The BA30 must not be inferred from the name similarity. In the shop, you’ll find the Saint Torch 30C and Saint Torch 31 with their respective product details.
Suitable accessories For compatible Saint Torch models, the NEXTORCH HM30 multi-purpose handle can complement handling. More brand-specific items are available in the verified NEXTORCH collection.

FAQ zum NEXTORCH BA30 Passt der BA30 zur Saint Torch 30C? Nein. NEXTORCH nennt ausschließlich Saint Torch 11, Saint Torch 30 und Saint Torch 30 V2.0. Die 30C verwendet ein anderes Akkusystem. Passt er zur Saint Torch 31? Nein.
