Monolithisches Jagdgeschoss für Expansion und hohe Restmasse Polymerspitze, Boat-Tail und Entlastungsbänder für präzise Laborierungen Die Nosler E-Tip SP Geschosse im Kaliber 6,5 mm/.264 mit 120 Grain sind bleifreie Jagdgeschosse für Wiederlader, die kontrollierte Expansion, hohe Gewichtserhaltung und zuverlässige Tiefenwirkung miteinander verbinden möchten. Der monolithische Geschosskörper besteht aus einer bleifreien Kupferlegierung und verhindert konstruktionsbedingt eine Trennung von Kern und Mantel. Die aerodynamisch geformte Polymerspitze schützt die Geschossspitze vor Beschädigungen, verbessert die Flugleistung und initiiert beim Auftreffen die Expansion des Geschosskopfes. Der stabile hintere Geschossbereich bleibt dabei weitgehend erhalten und unterstützt eine geradlinige Penetration sowie eine effiziente Energieübertragung. Zwei präzise positionierte Entlastungsbänder reduzieren die Kontaktfläche im Lauf und ermöglichen eine auf unterschiedliche 6,5-mm-Patronen abgestimmte Setz- und Crimpposition. Die Boat-Tail-Heckform verbessert den Strömungsabriss, reduziert den Luftwiderstand und fördert eine stabile Fluglage. Mit einem G1-Ballistikkoeffizienten von 0,497 und einer Querschnittsbelastung von 0,246 bietet das Geschoss eine leistungsfähige Kombination aus gestreckter Flugbahn, Energieerhalt und terminaler Wirkung. Die Gesamtlänge des Geschosses beträgt 1,350 Zoll. Nosler führt diese Ausführung unter der Artikelnummer 59765. Geliefert werden 50 Geschosse je Verkaufspackung beziehungsweise 150 Stück je Umkarton. Es handelt sich ausschließlich um Geschosse für das Wiederladen und nicht um schussfertige Munition. Für die Laborierungsentwicklung sind geeignete Komponenten, veröffentlichte Nosler-Ladedaten sowie die Vorgaben der Waffen-, Pulver- und Komponentenhersteller verbindlich.
