Spartan Brass Classic Gunsmith Adapter made of Brass – MagnaSwitch™
The Spartan Brass Classic Gunsmith Adapter is a permanently integrated mounting solution in the fore-end for compatible Spartan bipods, tripods, and other support systems. Unlike the particularly lightweight aluminum version, this variant is made of solid brass and deliberately adds a bit more weight to the front area of the firearm at 23 g. The adapter is glued flush into a suitable wooden or synthetic stock, making it especially discreet after installation. No larger components protrude, allowing for a clean integration and reducing the risk of snagging on clothing or vegetation. Compatible Spartan support systems can be quickly attached and removed via the Spartan MagnaSwitch™ interface. These include, among others, Javelin and SpringBok bipods, Ascent, Hoplite, and Sentinel tripods, SpringBok Quad Sticks, and Davros Heads. In combination with a Javelin bipod, the adapter supports both a fixed rest and the swiveling hunting mode. With an overall depth of only 17 mm, the design remains compact. The brass version is especially suitable for users who prefer a slightly higher front weight compared to the 9 g lightweight aluminum Gunsmith Adapter. AKAH explicitly describes this as an option to deliberately influence the firearm’s balance. Installation note: The Gunsmith Adapter is permanently glued into the fore-end. Spartan recommends installation by a gunsmith or a suitably qualified person. Im Unterschied zur besonders leichten Aluminium-Ausführung besteht diese Variante aus massivem Messing und bringt mit 23 g bewusst etwas mehr Gewicht in den vorderen Bereich der Waffe.Der Adapter wird bündig in einen geeigneten Holz- oder Kunststoffschaft eingeklebt und bleibt dadurch nach der Montage besonders dezent. Es stehen keine größeren Bauteile hervor, was eine saubere Integration ermöglicht und das Risiko des Hängenbleibens an Kleidung oder Vegetation reduziert.Über die Spartan MagnaSwitch™-Schnittstelle lassen sich kompatible Spartan Stützsysteme schnell ansetzen und wieder abnehmen.
