Multispectral
The brand new Thermion Duo model series are the first thermal imaging devices with a multispectral optics. This means that on one hand, there is an optical sensor built in for nighttime observation and for locating thermal activity. Secondly, there is a digital sensor present to enable use during the day as a daylight riflescope.
The thermal vanadium oxide sensor with 640 x 480 pixels at 17 micrometer pixel size is a high-resolution thermal imaging detector that can detect any heat sources. This Lynred chip is manufactured in Europe, with under 25 microkelvin sensitivity, it captures even the smallest temperature differences. The image information is displayed on an AMOELD screen. The HD capable panel with 1024 x 768 pixels in combination with the AMOLED LED technology is characterized by special color saturation, high contrast, and natural black levels.
For daytime aiming, a digital CMOS chip is used, which can capture the smallest details in color with a rich 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K resolution). Even in rain, fog, or snow, identifying wildlife is possible. The daylight optics do not need to be focused separately; they can already clearly and distinctly capture objects in the 10-meter range. The switch from night device to day device occurs quickly and easily with just one button press.
The operation is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. Pulsar has considered this, as the focus is adjusted via wing buttons that are mounted on both sides.
For sharp, precise, and clear representation, the manufacturer uses a modern algorithm; misrepresentations of edges are automatically smoothed. Additionally, there is the possibility of contrast adjustment and image brightness.
The operating time is up to 6 hours; the power supply is provided by an internal fixed battery as well as an external replaceable battery. Thanks to the Pulsar battery replacement system, the swap can be done in seconds and even without sight.
Multimedia-wise, the Thermion offers a built-in video recorder for recording photos and videos. For this purpose, 16 gigabytes of storage are available. Data can be transmitted via Wi-Fi. Furthermore, up to 4 smartphones can be supplied with the live view via the Stream Vision 2 app.
With the IPX-7 certification, the housing is absolutely waterproof, making it easy to use in heavy rain, snow showers, or dense fog. Additionally, the device is resistant to caliber 12 shots.
The Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 is particularly suitable for hunting and security applications where precise target tracking is necessary both during the day and at night.

Die brandneue Thermion Duo Modellserie sind die ersten Wärmebildgeräte mit einer multispektralen Optik . Das bedeutet, dass einerseits für die Beobachtung nachts und für das Orten von thermischer Aktivität ein optischer Sensor eingebaut ist. Zweitens ist ein digitaler Sensor vorhanden, um den Einsatz bei Tag als Tageslichtzielfernrohr ermöglichen zu können.
Der thermische Vanadium Oxid Sensor mit 640 x 480 Pixeln bei 17 Mikrometer Pixelgröße ist ein hochauflösender Wärmebilddetektor, der jegliche Wärmequellen detektieren kann. Dieser Lynred-Chip wird in Europa hergestellt, mit unter 25 Mikrokelvin Sensitivität erfasst dieser selbst minimalste Temperaturunterschiede. Die Bildinformationen werden auf einem AMOELD Bildschirm wiedergegeben. Das HD fähige Panel mit 1024 x 768 Pixel in Kombination der AMOLED LED-Technik zeichnet sich durch eine besondere Farbsättigung, hoher Kontrast und natürlichen Schwarzwerten aus.
Für das Zielen bei Tag kommt ein digitaler CMOS Chip zum Einsatz, der mit satten 3840 x 2160 Pixel (4K Auflösung) kleinste Details in Farbe erfassen kann. Selbst bei Regen, Nebel oder Schnee ist das Identifizieren des Wildes möglich. Die Tageslichtoptik muss nicht extra fokussiert werden, sie kann bereits im 10-Meter-Bereich Objekte klar und deutlich erfassen. Der Wechsel von Nachtgerät auf Tagesgerät erfolgt durch nur einen Tastendruck schnell und problemlos.
Die Bedienung ist sowohl für Linkshänder als auch Rechtshänder geeignet. Pulsar hat hier mitgedacht, denn der Fokus wird über Flügelknöpfe eingestellt, die auf beiden Seiten angebracht wurden.
Für die scharfe, präzise und klare Darstellung verwendet der Hersteller einen modernen Algorithmus , Fehldarstellungen von Kanten werden automatisch geglättet. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit der Kontrasteinstellung und Bildhelligkeit .
Die Betriebszeit beträgt bis zu 6 Stunden , die Stromversorgung erfolgt über einen internen fest verbauten Akku sowie über einen externen wechselbaren Akku. Durch das Pulsar Akku-Wechselsystem , ist der Tausch binnen Sekunden und auch ohne Sicht möglich.
Multimedial bietet das Thermion einen eingebauten Videorekorder für die Aufzeichnung von Fotos und Filmen. Hierfür stehen 16 Gigabyte Speicher zur Verfügung. Mittels Wi-Fi können die Daten übertragen werden. Außerdem können bis zu 4 Smartphones über die Stream Vision 2 App mit der Live-Ansicht versorgt werden.
Mit der IPX-7 Zertifizierung ist das Gehäuse absolut Wasserfest, der Einsatz ist somit problemlos bei Starkregen, Schneeschauer oder dichtem Nebel möglich. Außerdem ist das Gerät bis zu Kaliber 12 schussfest.
Der Pulsar Thermion Duo DXP50 ist besonders für die Jagd und Sicherheitsanwendungen geeignet, bei denen sowohl bei Tag als auch bei Nacht eine präzise Zielverfolgung notwendig ist.
