The SIG Sauer SG 563 LB Sport is a compact semi-automatic rifle in caliber .223 Remington and belongs to the proven SG-55x platform from Swiss manufacturing. The system is based on a robust gas-operated mechanism with a rotating bolt and is known for its reliability as well as its durable construction.
Equipped with a 12" barrel (approx. 30.5 cm) and a 7" twist rate, the rifle offers stable bullet guidance even with heavier projectiles. The compact overall length of under 60 cm ensures very manageable handling and makes the weapon particularly interesting for dynamic disciplines in the sporting field.

Regarding execution in Germany:
In Germany, the SG 563 SB & LB is delivered with a telescopic fixed stock instead of a folding stock, as the weapon would fall below the minimum overall length of 60 cm with the stock folded.
Regarding availability / approval:
A variant with BKA approval for sports shooters is in preparation. A specific delivery date is currently not known.

Die SIG Sauer SG 563 LB Sport ist eine kompakte halbautomatische Büchse im Kaliber .223 Remington und gehört zur bewährten SG-55x Plattform aus Schweizer Fertigung. Zur Ausführung in Deutschland:
In Deutschland wird die SG 563 SB & LB mit Teleskop-Festschaft statt Klappschaft ausgeliefert, da die Waffe mit eingeklapptem Schaft die Mindestgesamtlänge von 60 cm unterschreiten würde.
Zur Verfügbarkeit / Zulassung:
Eine Variante mit BKA-Zulassung für Sportschützen ist in Vorbereitung. Ein konkreter Liefertermin ist derzeit noch nicht bekannt.
