Die Thermacell Nachfüllpackung M-48 enthält die passenden Wirkstoffplättchen für das Mückenabwehrgerät Backpacker MR-BP. Mit 12 Wirkstoffplättchen (PT-19-Eucalyptus-Citriodora) beträgt die Wirkdauer dieser Nachfüllpackung insgesamt etwa 48 Stunden. Sobald sich das Wirkstoffplättchen von blau zu weiß verfärbt, ist der Wirkstoff aufgebraucht und das Plättchen sollte ausgetauscht werden. Die Nachfüllplättchen sind einzeln luftdicht verpackt und müssen somit nicht direkt verbraucht werden.
