Our cutting board is made of solid walnut wood. Solid wood is rarely used for cutting boards. Usually, the material is sawn, glued, and then further processed. Not so with this solid cutting board, which is made from three whole walnut pieces. As the tree, so the wood: Each cutting board is a unique piece! You can recognize this not only by small irregularities that may occur in the wood surface but especially in the grain of the wood.
Due to its texture and tight grain, our cutting board is extremely robust and durable. In addition, our cutting board features a generously sized juice groove that catches any liquid that may occur while working. The board is equipped with four rubber feet, providing a secure and non-slip stand.

Unser Schneidebrett ist aus massivem Walnussholz gefertigt. Vollholz wird für Schneidbretter selten verwendet. Meist wird das Material gesägt, verleimt und dann erst weiterverarbeitet. Anders bei diesem massiven Schneidebrett, welches aus drei ganzen Walnussstücken gefertigt wird. Wie der Baum, so das Holz: Jedes Schneidebrett ist ein Einzelstück! Dies erkennen Sie nicht nur an kleinen Unregelmäßigkeiten, wie sie womöglich in der Holzoberfläche vorkommen, sondern vor allem in der Maserung des Holzes.
Durch die Beschaffenheit und die enge Maserung, ist unser Schneidebrett äußerst robust und langlebig. Außerdem verfügt unser Schneidebrett über eine großzügig bemessene Saftrille, welche beim Arbeiten entstehende Flüssigkeit auffängt. Das Brett ist mit vier Gummifüßen bestückt, was einen sicheren und rutschfesten Stand bietet.
