The model "boating" from the three-part Wave series is a practical boat and diving knife for water sports enthusiasts – from PUMA Solingen. A practical knife is one of the essential pieces of equipment for every boat driver and water sports enthusiast. It is important that the knife construction is stable and has a full tang on which a handle made of non-slip plastic is mounted. These considerations were also at the forefront during the production of our model "wave boating." The knife features a multifunctional blade that, in addition to the cutting edge, has a screwdriver tip, a line cutter, and a saw grind. The end of the handle is equipped with a lanyard hole where a lanyard can be attached. The accompanying plastic sheath has a snap closure for quick access and can also be attached to the body for diving using rubber loops.

Das Modell „boating“ aus der dreiteiligen Wave-Reihe ist ein praxistaugliches Boots- und Tauchermesser für den Wassersportler – von PUMA Solingen.
Ein praxistaugliches Messer gehört zu den notwendigen Ausrüstungsgegenständen eines jeden Bootsführers und Wassersportlers. Wichtig ist, daß die Messerkonstruktion stabil ausfällt und über einen durchgehenden Erl verfügt, auf dem ein Griff aus rutschhemmenden Kunststoff sitzt. Diese Überlegungen standen auch bei der Produktion unseres Modells „wave boating“ im Vordergrund. Das Messer besitzt eine mutifunkionale Klinge, die neben der Schneide eine Schraubspitze, einen Leinencutter und einen Sägeschliff aufweist. Das Ende des Griffs ist mit einem Schnurloch ausgestattet, an dem ein Fangriemen eingebracht werden kann. Die dazugehörige Kunststoffscheide verfügt zwecks schneller Zugriffsmöglichkeit über einen Schnappverschluß und kann auch für Tauchgänge mittels Gummischlaufen am Körper befestigt werden.
