Delta Armory – Gearbox-Frame (V2) made of CNC-machined EN AW-7075 T651 Precision & Material The Gearbox-Frame from Delta Armory is manufactured on precise CNC machines from high-strength Duraluminium EN AW-7075 T651. This material offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and ensures long-term dimensional stability even under higher stresses from stronger springs. Constructive Advantages The Mechabox skeleton is designed to permanently accommodate stronger springs and fits into Delta Armory housings without modifications. An integrated QSC opening point (Quick Spring Change) allows for quick spring changes — ideal in conjunction with the Delta Armory tension shaft/mandrel, as the spring can be changed without removing the Mechabox from the housing. Compatibility & Installation Space The frame provides significantly more space for wiring; even low-ohm silicone wire can be neatly routed. Enlarged sight openings facilitate the shimming of gears, and an additional opening serves to release the anti-reversal lever. The frame is designed for 8 mm ball bearings and is compatible with common processors/ETUs (e.g., ETU, Perun Hybrid v2, Titan v2 BT, etc.).
