The Royal Niger Company was a trading company engaged by Great Britain in the 19th century. It laid the foundation for the present-day state of Nigeria.
We were able to acquire these beautiful original pieces by chance from a collector. He brought the weapons back to Germany in 1960 in the depicted wooden transport case after returning from Africa by air freight.
Inside the original transport case are 6 different British flintlock muskets of the "Royal Niger Company".

Die Royal Niger Company war eine Handelskompanie, die im 19. Jahrhundert von Großbritannien engagiert wurde. Sie bildete die Grundlage für den heutigen Staat Nigeria.
Wir konnte diese schönen original Stücke durch einen Zufall, von einem Sammler erwerben. Dieser hat die Waffen im Jahre 1960 in der abgebildeten Holztransportkiste nach seiner Rückkehr aus Afrika per Luftfracht mit nach Deutschland genommen.
In der original Transportkiste befinden sich 6 unterschiedliche britische Steinschlossmusketen der "Royal Niger Company".
