The original Harris bipod from the 1A2 series Model BR features legs with quick height adjustment. The height locking occurs via a push button for each leg, allowing for compensation of uneven ground. The feet are 150mm long when retracted and 230mm when extended. The construction is very robust with a weight of only 335g.
The Harris bipods enable the shooter to aim at the target without having to hold most of the weight of the weapon, as this is supported by the Harris bipod. With the Harris bipod, you have the advantage that the weapon can be stably positioned on almost any surface, and the movements of the shooter (breathing, shivering in the cold, etc.) are less transferred to the weapon, allowing the shooter to remain in position longer and thus improve their point of impact. For decades, Harris bipods have been the best in the world - often copied, but never matched!

Das original Harris Zweibein aus der 1A2 Serie Model BR besitzt Beine mit schneller Höheneinstellung. Die Höhenarretierung findet je Standbein über einen Druckknopf statt und bietet dadurch die Möglichkeit Bodenunebenheiten auszugleich. Die Füße sind im eingefahrenen Zustand 150mm lang, ausgefahren 230mm. Die Konstruktion ist sehr robust bei einem Gewicht von nur 335g.
Die Harris Zweibeine ermöglichen es dem Schützen, das Ziel anzuvisieren, ohne dabei den Großteil des Gewichts der Waffe halten zu müssen, da dieses durch das Harris Zweibein abgestützt wird. Mit dem Harris Zweibein haben Sie den Vorteil, dass die Waffe auf so gut wie jedem Untergrund stabil aufgestellt werden kann und die Bewegungen des Schützen (Atmung, Zittern bei Kälte usw.) sich nicht mehr so stark auf die Waffe übertragen bzw. das der Schütze länger im Anschlag bleiben kann und somit seine Treffpunktlage verbessert wird. Seit Jahrzehnten sind die Harris Zweibeine die Besten der Welt - oft kopiert, jedoch nie erreicht!
